The body of the clock is made from coldcast bronze.
The Irish provincial crest is featured at this centre of the clock and is coldcast in brass.The provinces are (from top left in a clockwise direction) Connaught,Ulster,Leinster and Munster.

This clock is fitted with a high quality quartz movement which runs on one AA battery. Depending on the quality of the cell used the clock should run for up to one year before the cell needs to be replaced.
