The Bann Disc celtic mirror is based on a bronze disc found in the River Bann near Coleraine in Northern Ireland.
The disc is Celtic in origin and La Tene in influence and is dated from approximately 200 A.D.
The design features three birds heads incorporated into the graceful spiral swirl.The disc design is brass in finish and is 48mm x 4mm in size. It is mounted onto a pewter finished mirror, 200mm x 85mm in size.
This size of mirror is often refered to as a light catcher and makes a cute hall mirror.
