The Trinity knot or three sided knot is one of the most common and important designs within celtic knotwork designs. The term trinity knot refers to the Holy Trinity, Father , Son and Holy Spirit. The three sided knot is also supposed to be linked with the Celtic belief of reincarnation , the endless cycle of birth, life and death. No matter which meaning that is used to explain this design, it still retains a magical quality. The knotwork design is coldcast is brass and then mounted onto a slate plaque, 125mm x 125mm in size.
