Large Killyliss Celtic Wall Clock

Killyliss Studio has designed and hand formed this Irish handmade gift to explore the twists and intertwined patterns that we now know as Celtic Knotwork.

The large killyliss wall clock is handmade using a cold-cast metal technique.

This process uses pure fine ground brass and bronze metal powders.

The metal powder is mixed with resin and is used to form a metallic shell in the handmade clock mould.

The clock is then assembled , hand polished and finished with a clear lacquer.

This clock is fitted with a high quality quartz movement which runs on one AA battery. Depending on the quality of the cell used the clock should run for up to one year before the cell needs to be replaced.

This unique gift is functional as well as decorative.

The weight of the clock is 750g or 1.75 pounds in total

The clock is 210mm x 35mm in size and is packaged in a handmade box.

This clock makes a perfect Irish wedding present or retirement gift for anyone who has Celtic ancestry.
